The Foundation for Heart Science along with the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin got together and had a wonderful event! A free Jazz concert for the children, their families, and staff at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Everyone was able to relax, listen to wonderful music and forget about being in the hospital for just a little while. Each child was given a gift bag including toys, blankets, instrument and other safe and age appropriate items. Every one enjoyed the event and it brought much needed joy to all who attended.
The Schoen Foundation is delighted to give grants supporting the Foundation for Heart Science. Our grants provide funding for the research they do to mitigate and hopefully prevent the serious heart disease that can follow successful treatment using radiation for childhood cancer.
